Privacy policy

Pearnify Group Ltd ("Pearnify", "we") runs the Pearnify app. This policy says what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• Your name, username, email address and phone number, to make and secure your account.
• Your profile photo, short bio and town, which other people see on your profile.
• The work you post or take, your messages about it, and the reviews you give and get.
• Your Mobile Money number, to pay you. Card details go to Paystack and never reach us.
• The rough place a sign-in comes from, worked out from its internet address, to warn you about sign-ins that are not yours.

Who helps us

We use trusted services to run Pearnify: Amazon Web Services stores our data in London and sends emails and texts; Africa's Talking sends texts in Ghana; Paystack handles payments; OpenAI helps word job posts and draw their pictures. Each gets only what it needs for that job.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. If you close it, we delete your details after a short grace period, except records the law requires us to keep, such as payments.

Your choices

You can see and change your details in the app, close your account at any time, or ask us for a copy of what we hold. We never sell your data.
